Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of linklio, the link-in-bio service available at linkl.io and related apps and pages (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Funnel Duo Media Sdn Bhd (1320543-M), a company registered in Malaysia (“linklio”, “we”, “us”). By joining the waitlist, creating a profile or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use linklio
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 years old to use any feature that collects payments. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
2. Your account and username
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Usernames are allocated on a first-come basis. Joining the waitlist reserves a username for you until launch; we may release a reserved username if the account is not activated within 90 days of our launch email. We may reclaim usernames that impersonate other people or brands, infringe trademarks, are inactive for more than 12 months, or are used in breach of these Terms.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the links, text, images and other material you add to your profile (“Content”). You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and adapt your Content only as needed to run and promote the Service, for example to render your profile page and to generate link previews. You are responsible for your Content and confirm you have the rights to share it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- share content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- distribute malware, phishing pages, scams, or deceptive or misleading links;
- send spam, harvest data, or interfere with the Service or other users;
- impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- attempt to bypass any usage limits or security measures.
We may remove Content, suspend or close accounts, and disable links that we reasonably believe breach these Terms or put the Service or other people at risk. Where practical we will tell you why.
5. Selling through linklio
Selling features (products, digital downloads, courses, bookings) are provided through third-party payment processors and are available only in supported countries. You are the seller of record for anything you sell, and you are responsible for your prices, taxes, refunds, deliveries and compliance with consumer law. Fees for paid plans and transaction fees, if any, will be shown before you enable a paid feature.
6. Plans and payments
The core Service is free. Paid plans, when offered, renew automatically at the stated interval until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings and keep the paid features until the end of the current billing period. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including the linklio name, logo, software and design, belongs to linklio or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, sell or reverse engineer any part of it, or use our brand without written permission.
8. Third-party links and services
Profiles contain links to sites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the Service as a whole, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your links.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, linklio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or MYR 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Ending your account
You can close your account at any time. We may close or suspend your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On closure your profile page stops resolving and we delete or anonymise your data in line with our Privacy Notice.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in the country where you live.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
